Substitute Primary Teacher

The Substitute Teacher co-creates an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of children in the realization of their fullest learning potential. She or he is responsible for assisting the teacher in the day-to-day teaching and functioning of the class. The Substitute Teacher provides a fun and enriching program in accordance with Montessori philosophy and ensures the safety of participants at all times. The Substitute Teacher makes a positive contribution to the character of the school community, helps maintain a respectful and cooperative atmosphere, and cooperates in the administration of Casa di Mir’s policies and procedures.

Upper Elementary Guide/ Teacher

Casa di Mir Montessori School is hiring for a dynamic Upper Elementary Guide (teacher) to work with students ages 9 - 12 in a small class with a co-teacher. Casa di Mir's Elementary program focuses on the student’s development of internal organization of thoughts and ideas, the capacity for imagination, and the thirst for understanding the universe. The Cultural Studies of history, geography, zoology, and botany are integrated into an understanding of the universe and life within it, thus giving a context for everything studied during the lifetime of the individual.
