Resource Learning Specialist, Part-Time

The Resource / Learning Specialist is responsible for guiding students (preschool through middle school) with learning difficulties at Casa di Mir. Working directly with teachers, students parents, and consultants on assessing students, create and implement specialized academic instruction, including Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) related to the needs of exceptional children


Lower Elementary Guide/Teacher (1st through 3rd Years)

The Elementary Guide creates an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of children in the realization of their fullest learning potential.  She or he is responsible for the generation and improvement of all school curricula in writing and the pedagogical growth and development of the school as well as the day-to-day teaching and functioning of his or her class. The Guide prepares materials to meet the needs of the children, and operates in a manner in keeping with Montessori Method and concerns for educational excellence. 


Assistant Teacher Upper Elementary

The Assistant Teacher co-creates an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of children in the realization of their fullest learning potential. She or he is responsible for assisting the teacher in the day-to-day teaching and functioning of the class in a combined Elementary Montessori class. The Assistant Teacher makes a positive contribution to the character of the school community, helps maintain a respectful and cooperative atmosphere and cooperates in the administration of Casa di Mir’s policies and procedures.


Assistant Teacher Lower Elementary

The Assistant Teacher co-creates an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of children in the realization of their fullest learning potential. She or he is responsible for assisting the teacher in the day-to-day teaching and functioning of the class in a combined Elementary Montessori class. The Assistant Teacher makes a positive contribution to the character of the school community, helps maintain a respectful and cooperative atmosphere and cooperates in the administration of Casa di Mir’s policies and procedures.


Substitute Primary Teacher

The Substitute Teacher co-creates an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of children in the realization of their fullest learning potential. She or he is responsible for assisting the teacher in the day-to-day teaching and functioning of the class. The Substitute Teacher provides a fun and enriching program in accordance with Montessori philosophy and ensures the safety of participants at all times. The Substitute Teacher makes a positive contribution to the character of the school community, helps maintain a respectful and cooperative atmosphere, and cooperates in the administration of Casa di Mir’s policies and procedures.
